The Vartan Group is delighted to announce that Nicole L. Borda, Esq. has accepted the position of Executive Vice President & General Counsel and joined our firm.
As a member of the senior management team, she will have a twofold focus: on the design and execution of corporate strategy, as well as responsibility for directing legal matters.
Ms. Borda is a prolific community servant. She currently serves on the boards of directors for the Harrisburg Young Professionals, Jump Street, and Notre Dame Club of Harrisburg. She is the immediate past president (2009) of the Harrisburg Young Professionals, and past president (2007, 2008) of the Notre Dame Club of Harrisburg. She is a member of the City of Harrisburg's Public Safety Advisory Committee, Harrisburg University of Science and Technology's Honorary Alumni Association Steering Committee, and United Way's Bridges Society.
Her professional and civic accomplishments have earned her recognition by the Central Penn Business Journal as a Forty Under 40 award recipient (2009) and a 25 Women of Influence Award (2010), and by the City of Harrisburg with the Mayor's Award for Public Beautification (2009).
Ms. Borda joins us from the law firm Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, PC, where she practiced law since 2002. She is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame Law School and the University of Notre Dame, and is admitted to the Pennsylvania bar.
